If you're experiencing motion issues with your King Living recliner that uses an IR sensor, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
Check the power supply: Ensure that the recliner is plugged into a working power outlet and that there are no loose connections. Test the outlet with another device to confirm it is functioning properly.
Clean the IR sensor: Dust or dirt on the IR sensor may interfere with the signal from the remote. Gently clean the IR sensor on the recliner and remote control using a soft, lint-free cloth.
Ensure clear line-of-sight: Make sure there are no obstructions and the recliner's IR sensor is free from obstacles such as toys or other objects. There needs to be a clear line-of-sight, in order for the sensor to function properly.
Reset the recliner: Unplug the recliner from the power outlet, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. This may help reset the recliner's internal components and resolve the issue.
